It appears that Mr. Coffee Talk doesn't want anyone actually quoting his comments from his blog without permission. He has put a copyright disclaimer at the bottom of is posts. Personally, his blog isn't worth quoting to begin with. He is much more quotable in person. Saying stupid things like, "Let's freeze Ruth's brain." and "I don't care where the trash goes as long as it leaves Middleborough."
He being a lawyer I think somehow makes him feel protected or that his words are actually of some worth. It isn't like it is any real intellectual property. He ain't being paid to say this stuff... or is he? But, that is another story. Copyrights are for those who have a financial interest through their work and don't want others to financial benefit from it. Copyrighting your blog is just a coward's way of trying to intimidate those who will actually repeat your words to make counter points. Mr. Coffee Talk wants control. Sorry, I don't drink coffee. I'm for coffee-not.

don't feel bad anonymous, I responded to Ken's response and it didn't get posted. I guess Mr. Bond didn't like finding out that not only had I lived in California for a number of years, I was quite familiar with Vegas and its economic engines....unfortunately, I forgot to save it to post here...but it went along the lines of the fact that the surrounding community in Vegas exists because of the casinos, is sustained because of the casinos, and will die without them. Vegas is in the middle of the freaking desert with nothing else around it....it is a casino town...plain and simple. We already have an established and robust region with the "industries" Ken listed in his response and that plopping a casino in the middle of it would kill it.
As an attorney, how come he can't read the copyright laws? And he posted that nonsense about anonymous internet posts and libel and slander.
Is it just an attempt to impress? Doesn't work with everyone.
Maybe that's why Mr. Bond is always complaining about his lack of business. Yah think?

anonymous, I don't don't know...he either posts them or doesn't. I did notice he posted my reply to Ken...I think you need to post as something other than anonymous....too bad because many people like to comment on blogs and such but don't want to have to go through the hassle of setting up an account...I post anonymous comments on my blogs as long as I don't find them to be over the top rude...and yes, I have gotten plenty of those!
I would set up an account, but I am afraid of Adam Bond. He has managed to get his foot in the door, while he has his foot in his mouth. And a certain amount of voters love him for it.
He will go to any and all lengths to get his way and manage to be "right" and/or "correct".
Middleboro has enough to deal with without having to deal with him. The whole town should be fearful. Twenty years from now, people will ask "how could they let this happen".
You just need a strong stomach to post on Adam's site! For instance - "Oh Adam... you are so wonderful, blah blah blah! You make the world turn, blah blah blah! You make the sun shine, blah blah blah!" That sort of thing. Not only might he publish your comments - there might even be a highly favorable casino agreement in it for you!

anonymous, there are some in Middleboro already asking how we let it happen. Many caught on to Mr. Ego right away. For some, it took his betrayal or disloyalty.
Not everyone believes Mr. Ego walks on water, but when voters don't get involved, can you expect otherwise? If you want to get rid of him, why don't you run against him? If you don't live in Middleboro, support a candidate who opposes him.
I am afraid of Bond because he seems to have won over a majority of voters. But I will gladly give money or go door to door to help a candidate who is strong, smart and can verbal take him on in an educated and thoughtful way. That person, for sure, is not me.
I do not want a casino. I didn't vote for one, and didn't move to this area because I thought it needed one.
He will use his radio program to advance his agenda and win over more voters. I bet he drops the casino talk and will get more and more "folksy".
How did he manage to get a radio program? Does he pay for it?
Mr. Bond sponsors his own programs -- that's the same as buying your own airtime. He apparently prevailed last week getting a Middleboro business owner to contribute.
I suppose you could do much the same were you so inclined.

We have much work to do educating voters to increase participation and town meeting attendance.
Mr. Bond and Mr. Rogers were elected in April 2007, so their terms are not yet up.

Mrs Powell has numerous posting names on all the blogs she actually fights with herself to make the blogs more interesting.
